SDUFE Shandong Provincial Government Scholarship 2023 is a full-fledged scholarship program that awards two types of awards to students from throughout the world. The following is a breakdown of the award:

1- Complete Fee Waiver Scholarship

Tuition, registration, laboratory fees, inter-campus shuttle transportation, and the charge for Comprehensive Insurance for International Students in China are all included in the total tuition fee and fee for lodging.

2- Half Fee Waiver Scholarship

Fees include full tuition, registration, laboratory fees, inter-campus shuttle transportation, and comprehensive insurance for international students studying in China.

Documents Required

  • Application for International Students at SDUFE
  • a copy of your passport
  • Personal 2-inch white background bareheaded picture (JPG format)
  • Copy of degree certificate that has been notarized
  • Copies of academic transcripts that have been notarized
  • HSK certificate notarized copy
  • Previous year’s graduates must provide a CV.
  • There are two scholarly references (reference should be from your current university)
  • Statement of purpose and study schedule
  • Applicants for PhD programmes should provide the following documents:
  • Master’s thesis or scholarly works published in peer-reviewed journals (only PhD aspirants)

Eligibility Criteria

  • Non-Chinese nationals are required to apply (From all over the world).
  • Applicants for Bachelor’s degree programs must have a high school diploma and present a certificate of HSK4 proficiency of 240 points or above, or a certificate of Chinese language proficiency of the same level.
  • Applicants for Master’s degree programs must have a Bachelor’s degree and present a certificate of HSK5 proficiency of 240 points or above, or a certificate of Chinese language proficiency of the same level.
  • Applicants for Master’s degree programs with English courses must have a Bachelor’s degree and present an IELTS 6.5 or above certificate, or a certificate of the equivalent level of English language proficiency (except for native English speakers).
  • Applicants for doctoral programs must have a Master’s degree and present an HSK6 certificate with a score of 180 or above, or a certificate of Chinese language proficiency at the same level.
  • Applicants for Doctoral degree programs with English courses must have a Master’s degree and provide an IELTS 6.5 or higher certificate, or a certificate of the equivalent level of English language proficiency (except for native English speakers).
  • Applicants for Chinese Language programs and other non-diploma programs must be enrolled or have recently graduated from one of SDUFE’s partner universities (applying within one year of the graduation date).

Application Deadline

The application deadline for the Shandong Provincial Government Scholarship is May 20, 2022. After this date, all applications received will be ignored. In June 2022, the University’s International Students Office will notify successful candidates.
